One of the first landscape shots that was intended for print had to be taken on the other side of the planet in Koh Samui, Thailand in a last minute drive on the opposite side of the road. Thailand’s roads are driven on the left side of the road to this hidden beach near the Four Seasons Hotel that we had to hike through some mosquito infested woods to get to. Fortunately for AJ, he had some Deet bug spray on, but his buddy didn’t prepare for it as we made our way to this beach shot. Getting a rental car from the hotel with a manual transmission was another surprise before making the trip to the west side of the island didn’t make the journey to this sunset shot any easier.

Asking the hotel staff for a car ride wasn’t clear enough to get us a limo or taxi to get there, but it did end up getting us a Suzuki Samurai stick shift with everything backwards in the car too. Bring the Adventure! But the results were amazing and the adventure was just as great!
